A National Law Firm Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) practice group is seeking an associate in any of the offices in which it has a presence - Washington, D.C., New York, Richmond, Atlanta, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Orange County, Boston, or Chicago. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 6 years of litigation experience. The position will focus on state and federal regulatory litigation, including spinoff consumer class litigation, and administrative litigation. Matters may range from litigation with federal regulatory agencies to litigation against state Attorneys General to Administrative Procedure Act challenges.Candidates must have excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the bar of the state in which they will practice, or the ability to waive into that bar. While not required, clerkship experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of practice in the federal courts across the country is a must.
