Description:
Troutman Pepper Locke's Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) practice group is seeking to hire a mid-level Associate. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience working with State Attorneys General, including responding to civil investigative demands (CIDs), coordinating and engaging in multistate investigations, and negotiating resolutions, and is eager to advise clients on complex regulatory enforcement matters, internal investigations, and related litigation. Prior experience in a State Attorney General's office and familiarity with investigations, enforcement, and multistate coordination are strongly preferred.This role offers significant client-facing responsibility within a collaborative, nationally recognized practice, and will include maintaining and deepening established relationships with State AG offices to support strategic business development for the firm and the RISE group. Strong writing skills and a demonstrated publication record or an aptitude for thought leadership are essential.
The position is open to candidates in any of our office locations, with a preference for Richmond, Washington, DC, Boston, or Chicago. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state in which they reside and work.

The salary range for this position is $260,000 to $350,000 dependent on relevant years of experience.
