Position Overview:
We are seeking an associate attorney with a background in background in superior court practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to exercise significant oversight of parts of the firm's litigation calendar and staff.

Compensation is tied to a reasonable billable requirement for the attorney and the output of staff members under the attorney's supervision. This structure ensures that the firm can meet its goals without overburdening the attorney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the civil litigation cases
  • Handle cases from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, and appearing in court.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • You are not expected to have a book of business, but that can always be appreciated and discussed.

Qualifications:
Licensed Attorney: Active member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) in good standing.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working as an attorney in Washington State

Skills:
  • Strong litigation skills, including oral advocacy and legal writing.
  • Proven ability to manage a litigation calendar and delegate effectively.
  • Proficiency in mentoring and supervising junior attorneys and staff.
  • Above average tech savvy.
