Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of practice in personal injury law. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims (mostly on a pre-litigation basis), providing legal guidance, and representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings, as needed. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of personal injury laws and regulations. This is a remote work position, and the right candidate will have the ability to work from home, but also will have access to our office share space in Phoenix. - Case Management:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gather evidence, and assess the viability of potential cases.
- Legal Research and Analysis:
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents related to personal injury.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide informed and effective legal counsel.
- Client Consultation and Communication:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on case progress, and address concerns.
- Advise clients on the legal process, potential outcomes, and strategies for maximizing compensation.
- Negotiations:
- Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing parties, insurance companies, and defense attorneys.
- Negotiate favorable settlements for clients while considering their best interests.
- Court Representation:
- Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Work closely with experts, investigators, and other professionals as needed for case development.
- Continuing Education:
- Stay abreast of developments in personal injury law through continuing legal education and professional development.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Arizona and in good standing.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
- Proven track record of successfully handling personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
