As our caseload continues to grow, we are looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney who can manage their own files and contribute meaningfully to a busy, litigation-focused practice.

Responsibilities:
Most of our cases are in litigation. You'll handle files from the moment a potential client calls us through the end of the case, working closely with the managing partner on strategy along the way.

Take intake calls and speak with potential clients.
Review new matters with the managing partner and help decide which cases the firm should accept.
Once a case is signed, take charge of gathering facts, records, and early case development.
Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, and all other litigation filings.
Handle written discovery, depositions, inspections, and all day-to-day litigation tasks.
Communicate with clients regularly so they always understand what's happening and feel supported.
Work with experts, investigators, and medical providers to strengthen liability and damages.
Attend and handle hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
Move cases forward efficiently and prepare them for resolution, whether through settlement or trial.

Qualifications:

Must have litigation experience in personal injury cases, whether on the plaintiff or defense side.
Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing.
Comfortable managing your own cases and making strategic decisions.
Strong legal writing skills and the ability to draft clear, well-organized pleadings and motions.
Confident taking and defending depositions and handling hearings and mediations.
Able to communicate with clients in a patient, respectful, and compassionate way.
Organized, reliable, and able to keep multiple cases moving without constant oversight.
A team player who is willing to collaborate and contribute to a small, growing, family-run firm.
