As we grow in the Northern Allegheny county corridor, we're adding a seasoned personal injury attorney to our team.
Position Overview:
We seek an attorney with 7-10 years of experience in personal injury litigation (motor vehicle accidents, slip & falls, wrongful death) who is ready to take ownership of a robust case load, manage all stages of the case lifecycle (from intake/initial investigation through settlement or trial), and deliver the elite level of service our clients expect. The right candidate will be a self-starter, highly organized, client-focused, thrive both in the office and courtroom, and aligned with our premium brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and evaluate incoming personal injury files, conduct fact investigation, develop case strategy and budget.
- Manage all aspects of case progression: pleadings, discovery, motions, mediation, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial prep.
- Supervise and coordinate with paralegals, investigators, experts and support staff to advance cases.
- Provide clear, frequent, transparent communication to clients; set expectations, manage timelines, and deliver updates.
- Collaborate with marketing/intake team for lead conversion and referral handling; help maintain pipeline.
- Assist in business development: nurture referral relationships, speak to community groups, participate in firm branding as appropriate.
- Contribute to firm culture of excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania bar in good standing.
- 7-10 years of litigation experience in plaintiff personal injury.
- Proven track record of handling cases from initial intake through settlement or trial.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills; strong negotiation ability.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume but high-quality environment with a premium client service mindset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and drive cases forward.
- Technology-savvy and adaptable (case-management systems, e-discovery, etc.).
