Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of pre-litigation cases concerning personal injury, including communicating with clients, supervising cases, and engaging in settlement negotiations.
- Give legal counsel to plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits, safeguarding their rights and chasing reasonable reimbursement for physical injury, medical bills, and other related losses.
- Assemble and scrutinize a variety of legal documents, such as petitions, motions, responses to discovery requests, settlement contracts, and any other correspondence related to the case.
- Facilitate resolution discussions with other parties, insurance providers, and defense lawyers.
- Cooperate with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure clients are given the best results possible.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with CA Bar Association.
- Minimum 1-year of prior experience in personal injury (pay depends on experience).
- In-depth understanding of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Demonstrated success in personal injury cases, including significant settlements and verdicts.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively with colleagues and staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle a large caseload.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
