DLA Piper is seeking a non-partnership track attorney for its Patent Prosecution Group. We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution. Primary duties will include patent prosecution, client counseling, drafting patent applications, freedom to operate opinions and due diligence.

We prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools as well as prior industry experience or experience in recognized large or mid-sized law firms. We are looking for candidates with a degree in computer science, electric engineering or mechanical engineer. Applicants must be licensed to practice in the state in which they are officed. Admission to the USPTO is also required.
