Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, is seeking a Patent Associate or Patent Agent to be resident in the Boston office or work remotely supporting our Boston office. The ideal candidate will be admitted to the patent bar and have 2 - 4 years of experience with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and counseling related to electro-mechanical and software technologies. Prior firm experience is required.

The position will primarily support patent prosecution in electrical engineering technologies, including circuit/chip design and packaging. Candidates must have a technical background in electrical/computer engineering, software, mechanical engineering, or equivalent discipline. Experience in preparation and prosecution of patent applications related to electrical engineering, semiconductor chips, circuit design, and packaging is a plus.

Candidates must have: an excellent academic record, superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral), a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service, and a creative and strategic approach to prosecution.
