An Estate Planning & Elder Law Attorney, a successful Estate Planning and Elder Law firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join our team as Of Counsel, with a focus on contested probate cases. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to collaborate with us in providing exceptional legal services to our clients.This is a great opportunity for an attorney who doesn't want to bother with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Chat GPT as a way to get clients. We will supply a steady caseload of contested probate matters to work on. hat we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in probate and estate litigation, with a focus on contested probate matters.
- Someone who is compassionate, as elder law is sensitive work.
- Someone who truly enjoys talking with and helping people.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar and in good standing
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in contested probate matters, including but not limited to will contests, trust disputes, estate administration issues, and guardianship disputes
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on complex contested probate matters
- Collaborate closely with the firm's attorneys and paralegals to develop and implement effective strategies in handling contested probate cases
- Stay up-to-date with developments in probate law, regulations, and industry best practices
