We are looking for a Natural Resources Associate with 2-4 years of experience in natural resources litigation, or a desire to focus one's general litigation skills to natural resources litigation. Candidates can be located in any of our California offices, which include Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Sacramento.

For this position, ideal candidates will have experience in a number of critical areas of natural resources law, including litigation and administrative proceedings, strategic water supply planning, water rights permitting and regulatory compliance, adjudications of groundwater rights and water utility concerns. The position will offer the opportunity to hone the candidate's existing understanding of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, administrative proceedings, complex groundwater adjudications, water rights due diligence and transfers, and infrastructure development and use. The ideal candidate will also have an excellent academic record, strong writing, analytical, and public presentation skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with clients, agency officials, and the public.
