Job Description Summary:
A Global Law Firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation group. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm), experience with products liability and/or complex commercial litigation, and must have a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) to be considered. Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are highly preferred. Experience with pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus. Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, are a must. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is also required. We prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools. Strong project management skills and attention to detail will be critical to success. The associate's primary responsibilities will involve working with experts; assisting with fact development and depositions; reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda; and helping develop case strategy. This position is open to any of our U.S. offices.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
