Description:The Managing Counsel (Energy) is responsible for leading and overseeing the TAG Legal Department's engagement with and support for the TAES Group (including TDM) – promoting growth and profitability consistent with Toshiba values. This role involves providing strategic legal advice, overseeing compliance with laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and ensuring the division's operations align with corporate policies and legal requirements. This role also involves coordinating the legal advice and services provided by the TAG Legal Department. The Managing Counsel works closely with the leadership team, within the TAES Group and across TAG, to support the TAES Group's goals and objectives and protect its interests.
The Managing Counsel will provide legal advice and counsel to other TAG Business Units and Departments within certain designated subject matter areas, consistent with expertise and experience.
The Managing Counsel also will be a member of the legal leadership team, assisting in the management of the TAG Legal Department.
