About the Firm:Tyroler Leonard Injury Law is a fast-growing plaintiff's law firm dedicated to securing justice for clients injured through negligence. We are seeking an experienced and motivated litigation attorney to join our team and handle all phases of personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury files, including auto accidents, premises liability, dog attacks and other negligence cases.
- Conduct client interviews and provide legal guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel.
- Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Supervise and collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff.
- Maintain detailed case notes and ensure compliance with deadlines and court requirements.
- Engage in legal research and stay current on relevant case law and procedural rules.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Minnesota (Wisconsin also a benefit).
- 1+ years of personal injury civil litigation experience.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Litify, Clio).
- Proven record of achieving favorable settlements or verdicts.
- Spanish or other second language proficiency (a plus).
