Litigation Attorney

• Our law firm is looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney, ideally, one that has expertise representing nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations or businesses in dispute.
• We are looking specifically for a candidate with at least three years of experience of litigation experience.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Qualifications:

• California Bar Membership Required
• At least 3 years of relevant litigation practice
• Experience with nonprofit organizations a plus!
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role

Responsibilities:

• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
• Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
