Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Associate at A Construction Attorney, you will:
- Conduct legal research
- Draft pleadings, motions, and respond to discovery requests
- Prepare case files for trial
- Participate in some video court appearances
Requirements:
- New Graduates: Welcome to apply if you have excelled in Contracts/Contract Disputes and are currently studying for the Bar.
- Experienced Attorneys: Also encouraged to apply.
- California Bar: Studying for or already received your California Bar License.
- Litigation Skills: Strong grasp of civil litigation procedures.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Westlaw, CEB, Outlook, e-Filing, Adobe, and Excel.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and self-reliant with a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Flexible availability of 20-40 hours per week.
