Description:

A Washington DC Personal Injury Lawyer is a seven-lawyer firm located in Washington, DC. We practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia and focus primarily on personal injury cases. We are looking to add an attorney, preferably with personal injury experience. Admission to the Virginia, District of Columbia, and/or Maryland bars is a plus.

The position will require managing a caseload of personal injury and other matters, including:
  • Evaluating potential new cases;
  • Meeting with potential clients;
  • Overseeing pre-litigation workup of cases;
  • Conducting settlement negotiations;
  • Filing complaints and other pleadings;
  • Trials, depositions and other court appearances;
  • Overseeing disbursement of recoveries; and
  • Maintaining excellent client relations.

The attorney will be as autonomous as desired but will have full access to the partners and senior attorneys. The attorney will also have the assistance of paralegals and other support staff.
