Description:

A Full-Service Law Firm has an opening in multiple offices for a Litigation Associate with 3 to 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the state where the office residents.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
  • Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation, including contract and business disputes, and white-collar defense.
  • Clerkship or trial experience preferred.
  • Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Visual Acuity
Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
