Description:

Essential Job Duties
  • Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex legal issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Hawaii State Bar.
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Expected billable hours – 1,650 (but willing to consider other arrangements)
