Description:
Essential Job Duties- Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
- Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex legal issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Hawaii State Bar.
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Expected billable hours – 1,650 (but willing to consider other arrangements)
