Nichols Kaster is adding an associate attorney to its nationwide class-action litigation team. If you are looking to get involved in high-stakes litigation protecting the rights of employees and consumers, this is the practice for you. Associates take an active role in managing their own cases, writing, responding to, and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in trials. You will have the opportunity to get involved right away. Unlike other firms, our associates are on the front lines of active litigation and will find the practice both challenging and rewarding.

While we handle a wide variety of cases, the primary focus of the group is on the significant abuses committed by the financial services industry on employee 401(k) retirement plans. We represent classes of employees whose retirement savings have been squandered as a result of disloyal and imprudent management by their employer or other plan fiduciaries. In just a few short years Nichols Kaster's 401(k) practice has been recognized as the “driving force behind a flurry of litigation” against financial institutions and has also sued several Fortune 100 companies for mismanaging their retirement plans. We have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in retirement savings for everyday workers and retirees, most of whom would not be able to seek justice without our help.

At Nichols Kaster, we believe that diversity in all forms improves every workplace and makes every organization better. Nichols Kaster is committed to creating an equitable, inclusive, and accessible work environment for our employees and to bringing a diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility lens to our work. To that end, Nichols Kaster offers inclusive benefits and policies that support all its firm members. These include gender-neutral paid parental leave following the birth or adoption of a child, gender-neutral dress code, private accommodations for lactating parents, health insurance that covers transgender medical care, gender-neutral restrooms, flexible schedules and remote work, accommodations for disabilities, among others. We encourage members of diverse communities to apply.
