A Full-Service Law Firm, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a Life Science Patent Associate to join the Washington, DC office.Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree in chemistry or biochemistry, or a comparable degree. The position involves a mix of patent prosecution and portfolio management, counseling, patent opinion work, and litigation support in areas such as pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, natural products and ag-bio. Registration before the USPTO is required for the position. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of nationally recognized ANDA group with a focus on trial representation that handles some of the most high-profile Hatch-Waxman matters for numerous pharmaceutical companies.
All candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work well on a team.
The estimated salary range for this role is $225,000 - $420,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
