Description:

The Legal team is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company, including providing legal counsel across the organization, handling disputes, and creating and enforcing intellectual property.

Location Preference - Atlanta, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:
  • Legal Advice and Counsel: Provide legal advice and counsel to the business on all ongoing activities related to the organization's legal affairs.
  • Vendor Contract Negotiation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address contract-related issues and provide guidance on contract terms and conditions.
  • Marketing Review: Conduct legal reviews of marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Provide legal advice on marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Dispute Resolution: Support the management and resolution of legal disputes, including contract disputes, regulatory matters, and other legal issues. Represent the company's interests in legal proceedings as needed.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations affecting the healthcare tech industry. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal compliance matters.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Advise on best practices to minimize legal exposure and protect the company's interests.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to ensure alignment and consideration of legal requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, marketing regulations, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Experience in the software, technology, or healthcare industries is a plus.
