A Digital Infrastructure & Real Estate Investment Company is seeking a Licensed Attorney to join our high-performing Asset Management team and play a pivotal role in managing lease negotiations and legal strategy. This a is remote or hybrid opportunity (location dependent) to impact a growing portfolio while working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, redlining, and negotiating complex lease agreements. You'll lead conversations with landlords and stakeholders, ensure compliance with easement and lease terms, and help drive favorable outcomes for the business—all while collaborating cross-functionally to solve challenges and support growth.
Key requirement: JD from an accredited law school + bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
What You'll Do:
Expectations:
- Lead & direct negotiations with landlords, attorneys, and property managers to secure favorable lease terms.
- Redline, review, and revise lease agreements, including renewals and amendments, to align with business goals and legal standards.
- Draft and manage lease-related documentation from initial revisions through execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams—Legal, Finance, Operations, and Site Development—to resolve lease-related and operational issues.
- Enforce compliance with lease and easement agreements, addressing any discrepancies or violations.
- Identify and mitigate risks in lease language, offering strategic recommendations.
- Maintain organized tracking of contract status, negotiations, and legal correspondence.
Who You Are:
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in telecom, commercial real estate, or property management with a legal emphasis.
- Proven ability to redline, draft, and negotiate complex lease agreements.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, easements, and telecom lease structures.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to translate legal terms into business-friendly language.
- Detail-oriented with a strong business mindset and the ability to work autonomously.
- Confident and assertive with experience leading high-stakes negotiations.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
