Get To Know The Team:As the Lead Legal Senior Counsel you will work with key managers, sales and other personnel in the An American Multinational Financial Technology Company businesses to review, draft, and negotiate client and vendor contracts. You will also work with IT, audit and regulatory compliance personnel on an as-needed basis. This role will support the An American Multinational Financial Technology Company Health Solutions and An American Multinational Financial Technology Company Pharmacy Solutions businesses and their sales, compliance, and management teams with a focus on revenue generating contracts and initiatives for these business units. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team drafting, negotiating and managing contracts related to healthcare, privacy and security in relation to healthcare, intellectual property and software licenses. Must have prior experience with healthcare organizations who have contracted with PBM's or with health plans with commercial and government programs (Medicare specially). The ideal candidate is a commercially-minded attorney who understands business objectives and can effectively analyze and mitigate risks under tight deadlines.

- Act as a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of the business, legal, financial, regulatory, and technical requirements of the transactions related to the An American Multinational Financial Technology Company Health's lines of business and their clientele including healthcare providers, payers, pharmacy networks, and other healthcare related organizations.
- Advise internal clients in a high profile, fast paced environment.
- Provide drafting, review, negotiation and related legal advice and services on contracts pertaining to An American Multinational Financial Technology Company's various business lines, and other legal services as needed. The primary responsibilities would include drafting and negotiation of contracts with clients, vendors and other strategic relationships, including services agreements, SaaS Agreements, software license agreements, non-disclosure and /or data privacy agreements (including BAAs) and other transactional agreements, both as a product or service provider and a customer.
- Manage executed agreements to control costs/increase revenue, ensure compliance, maintain service levels and aggregate expenditures enterprise-wide.
- Assist with contractual and legal requirements in Requests for Proposal, Requests for Information, etc.
- Work on legal aspects of business or corporate initiatives for An American Multinational Financial Technology Company, including compliance with applicable data privacy laws.
What you will bring:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited law school and have passed, at a minimum, a state bar exam.
- Ideal candidate will have 5 + years prior experience drafting and negotiating transactional and/or commercial contracts with clients and vendors, including service and license agreements, involving software solutions, intellectual property, and data privacy and security, preferably in the healthcare space.
- Must have prior experience with healthcare organizations who have contracted with PBM's or with health plans with commercial and government programs (Medicare specially).
- Experience translating financial, technical, and operational concepts, along with pricing mechanics, into clear, enforceable contract terms that account for market fluctuations.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with business process outsourcing and pharmacy benefits management, a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (e.g. presentation, listening; and report writing).
