Required Degree: JD or PhD in a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: A successful applicant will have demonstrated an interest in becoming a law professor, a record of strong legal research and writing skills, an outstanding academic and professional background, and a commitment to producing influential and enduring scholarship.

Duties/Expectations: The J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University is seeking applicants for a one-year visiting fellowship with the possibility of renewal on a one-year basis for up to two additional years. The Fellow will participate fully in the intellectual and spiritual life of the Law School. The Fellow will attend regular works-in-progress discussions on faculty scholarship, present their own scholarship to faculty members, and otherwise work to develop their own research agenda and scholarship. During the first year, the Visiting Fellow will be expected to write and present at least one full-length law review article. Fellows whose terms are renewed will continue to develop their scholarship while also potentially teaching and going on the legal academic job market.
