What the role entails:
We are seeking a Labor & Employment associate to join our Labor & Employment Group. The ideal candidate will have 3-12 years (5+ years preferred) of hands-on experience in litigation of management-side employment matters. Litigation experience should include defense of federal, state and local statutory employment law claims, restrictive covenant litigation and wage and hour matters. On the client counseling side, the candidate will be expected to research and draft employment policies, employment, severance, and related agreements, and regularly provide general employment compliance counseling to clients. Experience with prevailing wage and traditional labor law (including NLRB matters and benefit fund litigation) is also a plus.

Required Skills:
The candidate must be a strong researcher and writer, highly organized, and eager to assist a number of clients simultaneously. We are looking for someone who wants to develop professionally, is enthusiastic and committed to turning out work that is “best in class,” and who wants to grow to be part of our growing firm. Admission in New York is required; New Jersey and Connecticut are a plus.

TKD is currently maintaining a hybrid schedule structured as Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office with the option to be remote Mondays and Fridays.
