- Representing our company in court and providing legal advice on IP matters
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Conducting patent searches and analyzing patent landscapes
- Conducting due diligence investigations related to IP
- Advising our company on IP licensing and agreements
- Developing and implementing IP strategies
- Identifying and pursuing potential infringers of our company's IP
- Communicating effectively with directors, other attorneys, and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in Texas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IP law and litigation
- Experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Strong knowledge of patent law, trademark law, and copyright law
- Experience with patent litigation and dispute resolution
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to be aggressive in the pursuit of infringers
