A White-Shoe International Law Firm is seeking a mid-level to senior associate (2017 – 2021) to join the Investment Management sub-group of the Corporate & Finance Group in the New York or San Francisco offices.Qualified candidates must have experience in investment management transactional work, including in private fund formation, and familiarity with the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Experience representing institutional investors and wealth advisor firms is a plus. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills. Our cross-office team is collaborative, collegial, and close-knit, with a culture of mentoring and a great deal of partner interaction. This role is ideal for a driven team player, looking for a high level of responsibility and partner contact. Applicants must be licensed or be eligible to become licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.
