Description:
This job is in support of the General Counsel, Intellectual Property for An Aerospace Company. It includes managing patent and trademark portfolios and advising the business area Intellectual Property Review board, advising management and other in-house clients on all manner of intellectual property issues, advising U.S. Government programs on data rights matters, including protection strategies, drafting, reviewing and negotiating intellectual property related agreements and terms and conditions, including technology and software licenses. Also, advising on intellectual property matters for mergers and acquisitions, managing and supporting intellectual property related litigation matters, managing outside counsel on patent and trademark matters, intellectual property transactional matters, and litigation, and preparing and presenting employee intellectual property related trainings.Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in dealing with patent, trademark, and copyright matters, both domestic and foreign.
- Providing advice on intellectual property issues and transactions.
- The attorney will be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/poly clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Top Secret or TS/SCI w/poly highly desired
- Seeking an attorney having a minimum of seven years of experience in advising clients on all range of intellectual property matters.
- The successful candidate will have experience with Government Contracts and supplier negotiations, including
- data rights under the Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Supplement.
