Merchant & Gould, one of the nation's premier intellectual property law firms, is seeking an Associate to join our litigation practice. The Litigation practice group represents clients in trials and appeals involving complex patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and complex commercial litigation matters. In addition to practice before federal and state courts, the firm has an extensive practice before the International Trade Commission. This position is located in our Atlanta, GA office.

Job Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and a minimum of 2 years of experience in patent litigation. Advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering is preferred. Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills are highly preferred. Our associate compensation structure has two components: (1) a base salary (based on an 1825 billable hour target) and (2) a discretionary merit bonus based on performance.
