Description:
A National Law Firm's Energy Practice Group is seeking to add an associate with three to six years of experience in energy regulatory matters to join our FERC team based in either our Portland, OR or our Washington, DC office. This position will be focused on hydropower matters. Candidates must have specific experience with federal and state energy and environmental statutes affecting the regulation of hydropower facilities, such as Part I of the Federal Power Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and National Historic Preservation Act.Candidates must have superior writing ability, maturity, and good communication skills. Candidates must be a member in good standing in the state in which they live, or eligible to waive in.

The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $345,000 dependent on relevant years of experience.
