Overview:We're a well-known, established, and family-friendly healthcare law firm in Gwinnett County, Georgia, seeking a Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team on a contract basis with the possibility for full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative hearings and expand expertise into other legal areas as needed. The administrative hearings involve healthcare provider payment issues as well as aiding special needs families obtain Medicaid Waiver benefits for their loved ones.
- Manage projects and cases independently while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of litigation experience.
- Experience with healthcare law and/or government benefits is a plus, but not required.
- Licensing: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage projects and cases independently with oversight from the firm's principal.
- Flexibility: Willingness to learn and practice in other areas of law, including representing clients in administrative hearings.
