A Health Care-Focused Law Firm is a national law firm focused on matters specific to health care organizations. A Health Care-Focused Law Firm is currently seeking a Health Information Technology attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join our Health Operations Practice Group. The position is open to any office, with remote flexibility depending on qualifications and experience.We're Looking for:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. Jurisdiction where you reside (additional state licenses a plus).
- A minimum of 5 years of legal practice, with substantial experience in technology and innovation, with exposure to e-commerce, Health IT, data privacy and security, and EHR interoperability appreciated.
- Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology contracts (e.g., SaaS agreements, outsourcing and managed service arrangements, software licensing and data security aspects of medical device and other supply chain purchases).
- Experience advising technology companies, technology-enabled service providers and health care providers that seek to commercialize internally-developed technologies or participate in joint development arrangements.
- Knowledge of privacy and security considerations related to wearables, mobile health apps, and other digital health technologies used in clinical research is a strong plus.
