We are seeking a Statutes Attorney to join our team. The Statutes Attorney will have the opportunity to work closely with all departments and assist in getting cases to move forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing personal injury cases nearing their statutes and following up with pre-litigation/litigation attorneys to identify the hold up.
- Consistently following up with various departments and making sure that actionable steps are taken ensuring cases are moving forward in a timely manner.
- Filing claims for cases nearing their statutes.
- Filing government claims and keeping track of their status to ensure appropriate next steps are taken.
- Appearing at hearings for cases that you have filed on.
Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified candidate will have a CA license and 1-2+ years of Personal Injury legal experience.
- Excellent time management skills are required as the duties of the job are time sensitive.
- Organizational skills are a must as the candidate will oversee all the firm's cases.
- Candidate must be detail oriented to make sure no case falls through the statutes of limitations.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
