Description:
The Position:A Full-Service Law Firm's growing Government Procurement Practice is looking to add a Partner with at least 10 years of experience to any of our offices. A book of a minimum of $400k in portable business is required.
This attorney will have a background in guiding emerging and established businesses through every step of the government procurement process with the ability to provide tactical and strategic advice to navigate the intricate statutory and regulatory challenges of contracting with government customers. He or she will have experience helping companies with complex operations handle the full spectrum of issues that arise when pursuing contracts at the federal, state, and municipal level.
Specifically, This Partner Should Have Experience In:
- Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS (Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement) issues;
- Bid protests and Request for Equitable Adjustments;
- ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) issues;
- Trade and customs issues;
- Review and negotiation of procurement contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, grant proposals, etc.
The successful candidate will have strong business development skills and the willingness and ability to lead and grow the practice.

Knowledge Base & Education:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Excellent academic credentials
- 10+ years of experience in government procurement and commercial contracting
- Valid license to practice law in the jurisdiction in which this position will be located.
