A Business Law Firm seeks to hire an attorney to join the Finance Practice Team. This position is open to any of our Michigan offices.We are seeking candidates with 6-15 years of significant experience in finance matters, with a demonstrated ability to lead transactions in a first chair capacity strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of both lender and borrower side work, loan documentation, and due diligence. The candidate should also be proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating credit agreements and related loan documents.
While a portable book of business is preferred, it is not necessary for this position. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated business development capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset. Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills. Admission to the Michigan bar is required.
