The Pre-Litigation Attorney position is located in our downtown Chicago office and is a hybrid position after successfully achieving competency in the role.Summary:
The Pre-Litigation Attorney supports the mission and goals of A Personal Injury Attorney by representing our clients' best interests through their legal journeys and negotiating the settlements with insurance companies. The Pre-Litigation Attorney strives to maximize case values to ensure each client receives a most favorable award possible for the loss.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Pre-Litigation Attorney is responsible for the direction and guidance of the case management team assigned to the attorney.
Essential Functions:
- Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake through settlement, maximizing case value
- Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
- Draft and file legal documents needed in pre-litigation.
- Negotiate the most favorable settlements to maximize case value with insurance companies.
- Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
- Special projects, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
- In good standing with the Illinoi Bar
- Excellent legal research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- High integrity; strong work ethic
- Collaborative leadership skills
Education & Experience:
- Juris Doctoral degree from accredited school of law
- Four to six years of experience with personal injury claims, with a focus on Pre-Litigation
- Preferred legal case management database experience
