What You'll Accomplish
In this role, you will:

Independently manage a criminal defense caseload of approximately 60 active matters
Develop and execute defense strategies that deliver outstanding client outcomes
Build trusted relationships with clients through exceptional communication and responsiveness
Represent clients in hearings, motions, negotiations, evidentiary proceedings, and trial preparation
Confidently navigate misdemeanor and felony matters from intake through resolution
Contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Help strengthen the firm's reputation as a trusted criminal defense resource throughout Arizona

What Success Looks Like:
First 30 Days

Learn firm systems, workflows, and client service standards
Begin taking ownership of assigned matters
Establish credibility with clients and team members

First 60 Days

Independently manage your active caseload
Demonstrate strong courtroom presence and case strategy
Build trust with clients through proactive communication

First 90 Days

Successfully manage approximately 60 active matters
Deliver excellent client experiences and strong case outcomes
Become a reliable contributor to the firm's continued growth

First Year

Be recognized as a trusted advocate by clients and colleagues
Consistently deliver favorable outcomes and excellent client service
Position yourself for future leadership and growth opportunities within the firm

Required Qualifications:

Active Arizona Bar License
Minimum 3 years of criminal defense and/or prosecutorial experience
Experience independently managing criminal matters
Strong courtroom presence
Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
Exceptional client communication skills
Ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining quality representation
Comfortable using modern legal technology and case management systems
