We are seeking a newly licensed California attorney who is eager to build a career in litigation. This position is designed for someone who is motivated to learn, enjoys taking initiative, and is looking for hands-on experience with meaningful responsibility from the beginning of their legal career.At Benji Personal Injury, you won't spend years observing from the sidelines. Working closely with our lead attorney, you will receive mentorship while actively handling cases and developing the practical litigation skills necessary to become a confident and effective advocate.
What You'll Do:
As an Entry-Level Litigation Attorney, you will play an active role in every stage of litigation, including:
- Managing cases from filing through trial
- Developing litigation strategy and case theories
- Conducting settlement negotiations
- Taking and defending depositions
- Appearing in court for hearings and other proceedings
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
- Conducting legal research and case analysis
- Working with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses throughout the litigation process
- Our attorneys are supported by experienced paralegals, legal assistants, and law and motion staff, allowing you to focus on advocacy, strategy, and professional development.
Qualifications:
- California Bar Number
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize a busy caseload
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- A proactive professional who takes ownership of their work and is committed to continuous growth
