Job Description:An International Law Firm has an immediate opening for an off-track employment litigation attorney with at least 8 years of experience in employment litigation/counseling.
Resident in the firm's Los Angeles or San Fransico office, the ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of employment law, including hands-on experience handling a range of employment cases and counseling matters.
The candidate should have experience with handbook reviews, employment and separation agreements and other routine matters including but not limited to harassment, wrongful termination, contract disputes, workplace discrimination, and whistleblower protection. If preferred by the candidate, this position can be a 60% FTE position, with occasional telework consistent with work responsibilities.
It is required that the candidate have a bachelor's degree and a juris doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited law school. The candidate must be a member of the California Bar. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written), strong analytical skills, and knowledge of and a commitment to the ethics and conduct codes that are a requirement for the proper and legal practice of the law.
