Due to continued expansion, A Bankruptcy & Creditors Rights Litigation Law Firm is seeking an associate attorney for our Employment Practice Group. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-starter with 2+ years of experience that includes:- Employment litigation defending discrimination matters, retaliation, restrictive covenants and wage and hour litigation in the state and federal courts of NJ and NY and before government agencies.
- Providing advice and counsel to employers on various employment-related issues including wage and hour, mitigation of risk, performance management, workplace accommodations, leave laws, and reductions-in-force.
- Drafting employment agreements, employment handbooks and related policies.
- Working knowledge of federal, New Jersey, New York State and New York City employment laws.
- Excellent legal research, drafting and writing ability, and analytical and verbal communication skills are required.
