Kirkland & Ellis LLP is seeking a talented Of-Counsel to join the firm's eDiscovery team. Candidates must have several years of experience practicing general litigation, from the complaint all the way to trial. This should include drafting briefs, engaging in negotiations with opposing counsel, drafting discovery requests and responses, etc. In addition, the candidate should have substantive electronic discovery experience related to data protection and privacy issues, as well as strategic document collection, review, and production management in connection with commercial litigation, products liability cases, antitrust matters and internal and government investigations. Ideal candidates will possess a keen interest in and understanding of eDiscovery issues such as TAR (technology-assisted review), strategic preservation, information governance, and emerging technology challenges, as well as outstanding research and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication and strong academic credentials.
