Social Security Disability Associate AttorneyOur law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available in the social security disability department and we're looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. Responsibilities:
- Represent Claimants at hearings before Administrative Law Judges
- Review and analyze medical files
- Draft documents such as pre-hearing briefs, appellate briefs, motions, affidavits, and correspondence
- Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently
- Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
- Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Candidates must have passed the bar exam
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
- Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
- Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- 0-2 years of experience as an Attorney or current J.D. awaiting FL Bar result
- Strong organizational skills
- Oral advocacy
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of physical and mental impairments
- Advocating for clients before an Administrative Law Judge
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills are needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients

Compensation:
- $60,000 - $65,000
