We are looking for a self-motivated team player to join our IPR Commercial Compliance team, part of A Swedish Multinational Networking and Telecommunications Company IPR & Licensing unit!
What you will do:
- As a member of this dynamic team, you will focus on analyzing patent licensing opportunities, developing and presenting pricing proposals to prospective licensees, and managing compliance with commitments to license patents on fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms, to support the commercialization of our critical patent portfolios on a global basis.
- In addition to supporting patent licensing negotiations, you will support patent litigations, arbitrations, mediations, regulatory matters, and policy and communication initiatives on pricing and FRAND compliance on a global basis. You will work closely with other members of the IPR Commercial Compliance team, as well as with the patent licensing, assertion, legal, policy, policy research, and communication teams, as well as outside counsel and experts. Travel will be required.
You will bring
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience as a lawyer.
- Experience in patent litigation, patent damages, FRAND commitments, and/or patent-related pricing.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and revising complaints, answers, briefs, and/or expert reports.
- Experience collaborating with customers in patent licensing negotiations and patent commercialization projects a plus.
- Experience with contract law and/or competition law a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent social, presentation, and writing skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and rigorous team player with high integrity.
- Experience in, or strong curiosity about, telecommunications.
