Description:
The Miami office of Clyde & Co specializes in the defense of civil litigation matters. The office has an opportunity for an attorney with up to 3 years of litigation experience. In this role, you will work on the defense of a variety of civil litigation matters, including general liability, premises liability, negligent security, wrongful death, construction, automotive accidents, and property damage claims - to name a few. You will also work on the defense of high-exposure product liability claims. Working with our experienced attorneys, you will gain hands-on experience and litigation skills as part of a busy and energetic team.This role offers a flexible/hybrid work schedule and would be open to candidates located anywhere in Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare pleadings, motions and briefs
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Interview clients and eyewitnesses to accidents
- Report on the status of cases to clients
- Significant interaction with clients
Education and Experience Required:
- Admitted to practice in Florida
- Strong academics
- Litigation experience
Skills and Ability:
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
