Description:

Criminal Defense Attorneys is a boutique criminal defense firm in Tucson, Arizona. Originally founded over forty years ago by Stephen Ralls, the firm has built a strong referral base and is now seeking a trial attorney to help manage its caseload.

Criminal Defense Attorneys occupies a unique niche in the criminal defense market, allowing its attorneys to pursue excellence in each case, rather than prioritizing quantity and speed. The firm primarily handles high-level trafficking (drugs, firearms, immigrants) and money laundering cases. Many of its clients face extradition to the United States for prosecution. Given the complexity of its cases—which often require substantial work and intricate litigation—the firm maintains a low caseload to ensure high-quality representation.

The firm's workload is intellectually stimulating and extends beyond “run-of-the-mill” drug cases. Its cases frequently involve international investigations, wiretaps, electronic surveillance, and wide-ranging conspiracies. Ralls & Wille has handled cases concerning public integrity (bribery), OFAC and the Kingpin list, homicides, outrageous government conduct (including torture in Mexico), wrongful placement in Florence ADX (Supermax), complex international money laundering, and more.
