Description:

If you're ready for a practice where you can focus on preparation and advocacy — not just endless hearings and packed calendars — keep reading.

Many talented attorneys in the Seattle area spend their days moving from hearing to hearing, managing overloaded calendars and reacting instead of preparing.
  • Too many files.
  • Too little time to think.
  • Calendars controlled by someone else.
  • Strategy dictated by policy instead of professional judgment.

If you want the space to prepare thoughtfully, advocate strategically, and take real ownership of your cases, this may be the right next step.

Who We Are:
We help good people get a second chance.
  • We are busy — but deliberate.
  • We are selective about our clients.
  • We are serious about preparation.

Criminal defense requires judgment, discipline, and respect for the people we represent. Our clients are the reason this firm exists.

What You'll Do:
  • Handle misdemeanor and felony criminal matters
  • Appear regularly in district and superior court
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Negotiate strategically
  • Prepare cases for contested hearings and trial
  • Communicate directly and professionally with clients

Your time is focused on litigation and strategy. Our team supports intake and onboarding so you can concentrate on practicing law.

You will have meaningful control over preparation and workflow — with accountability for outcomes.

Our Culture:
We have a simple rule: no assholes — for clients or team members.

We do not tolerate abusive, manipulative, or disrespectful behavior.

Professionalism, accountability, emotional maturity, and mutual respect are non-negotiable.

Autonomy here is earned through performance.

What we expect:
  • Active Washington State Bar license
  • Criminal litigation experience (defense or prosecution)
  • Strong courtroom presence
  • Sound judgment
  • Accountability for deadlines and results
  • Clear, confident, and empathetic client communication
  • Ability to work effectively with people under significant stress
  • Valid Washington driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle for travel to court appearances throughout King County

Empathy strengthens advocacy.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $100,000 – $130,000 per year
  • Compensation reflects demonstrated ability — not simply years licensed
  • Health, dental, and life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Long-term opportunity for an attorney who wants to build something meaningful

Not A Fit If:

  • You want someone else making every decision
  • You avoid courtroom responsibility
  • You are more concerned with ego than outcomes
  • You prefer minimal accountability
  • You lack professionalism with clients under stress
  • We are building a team of serious professionals.
