A Leading Payment Processing Platform is looking for a dynamic and motivated Corporate Counsel to join our legal team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Fintech company, advising on a wide range of commercial agreements and corporate issues within a fast-growing and supportive environment.As Corporate Counsel you will be working across a diverse scope of legal matters. The role includes drafting and negotiating agreements to support our US-based sales team, including payment service provider agreements and software license agreements with merchants and distributors. You will play an integral role providing business-minded legal advice to teammates across A Leading Payment Processing Platform by advising on contracting models, product design, compliance, corporate governance, and other legal issues. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the business's template agreements, contract review guidebooks and responding to A Leading Payment Processing Platform's evolving legal needs.

- 2+ years of legal experience, whether at a law firm or in-house
- Attorney with a JD and membership in good standing in at least one state bar association
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal/commercial contract advice directly to colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Creative and strategic thinker who can create and improve upon processes to create efficiencies
- Quick learner who is comfortable navigating new matters
- Thrives while working in a fast-paced environment
- Operates independently, and can act decisively
Desirable skills:
- Experience in-house at a fast-growing technology company or advising FinTechs at a law firm
- Strong interest in and awareness of the payment industry sector, and SaaS contracting models
- Privacy expertise, including CIPP/E or CIPP/M certification, is a plus (but not required)
