Job Summary:
A Mexican Multinational Building Materials Company a US based subsidiary of Cemex S.A. B. de C. V., is seeking a Corporate Attorney to be based in Houston.

Job Responsibilities:
  • 8 plus years of experience structuring, negotiating and documenting merger and acquisition transactions in multiple jurisdictions, including performing and managing diligence process
  • Experience with joint venture formation and management issues
  • Real estate, renewable energy, and financing experience is a plus
  • Practical proactive business judgment
  • Excellent management, research, analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines managing multi-faceted projects
  • Proficient in computer and word-processing skills

Qualifications:
  • JD from ABA accredited law school
  • Member of the Bar in one or more US states in good standing

  • Able to work extended hours as needed
  • Able to work with standard office/computer equipment
  • Able to work in an open concept office environment
  • Able to participate in required overnight travel up to 30%
