Job Details:Your Role: You will provide legal advice and guidance for corporate, regulatory compliance, and governance matters impacting business strategy and policies or claims and evaluate the legal risk and impact for A Truck Transportation Company and its affiliates.
- Draft, negotiate, and review various legal agreements, including supplier, customer, vendor, real estate, contractor and subcontractor agreements, and file government reports.
- Analyze legal issues, support commercial matters, and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Oversee, manage, and prepare the compliance and maintenance of corporate records, policies, and charter documents.
- Manage in-house legal department and outside counsel.
- Concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
- Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
Role Specifics:
- Travel – Overnight travel required. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
- Schedule – Monday – Friday; Ability to be on call 7 days a week.
We Need You To Have:
- Juris Doctorate Degree.
- Licensed to practice law in MO or IL.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent research, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- 4-9 years Corporate, Employment, and/or Litigation experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
